A big thank you is extended to all our Members, Branches and Regions who are enthusiastically and energetically organising projects and events to raise funds for the National Embroidery Centre - Manchester.

CONGRATULATIONS to all our Members - your fundraising efforts have now reached over £200,000! well done.The amount raised by Members up to 6th September 2005 has now reached £227,642.24 which includes the sum of £5,914.71 representing the tax reclaimed on Gift Aided donations up to 5th April 2005. Thank you all so much for your continued support which is very much appreciated..

GIFT AIDED DONATIONS
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our Members who kindly Gift Aided their donations. This has proved to be so worthwhile as it significantly enhances the amount raised by Members towards the centre of embroidery.
We can now confirm that the Guild has been able to reclaim the tax paid on Gift Aided donations (up to 5th April 2004) to the amount of £5,597.40.

The Members of Plymouth Branch have made a traditional quilt which they are raffling to raise funds for the National Embroidery Centre - Manchester.

The Draw will take place on the 20th January 2005. Tickets cost 20p or £1.00 per book, and can be purchased from Susan Holmes - 01752 823090.

On 22nd June 2004 Diana Keay, Founder of the Stow on the Wold Branch, held a Mid-Summer evening at her cottage in Lower Slaughter, Cheltenham to raise funds for the Guild's new centre. The event was enormously successful... Read more ...

Congratulations to Lutterworth Branch who, despite being a very small group of just 12 Members, held a very successful Extravaganza Day on Saturday 8th November 2003 to raise funds for the new centre for embroidery... Read more....

Congratulations and thanks to Helen Conrad, Treasurer of the North Wales Branch who was sponsored by members of her Branch to walk Offa's Dyke in 2003 in aid of the new centre for embroidery.... Read more....

Hamilton & District Branch have raised £600 for the new centre. This amount was raised by various Members including Celia Wijesinghe who organised a very successful Sari evening.... Read more....

South Sefton Branch held an enormously successful "Sefton in Stitches" fundraising day last October and raised £2461.99 towards the new centre. Congratulations to all the Members of the South Sefton Branch for their hard work and wonderful achievement in organising such a successful event. Read more....

North Herts and Bedfordshire Members got together in the summer for a delightful day of Pimms and Beads - and raised almost £400 for the new centre. Our thanks go to Val Aitken who opened her home and garden, and all the ladies who made the day such a success. Champagne and strawberries are on the menu next year... Read more....

Well done Pam!
Many congratulations to Pam Keeling whose sponsored bike ride has to date raised an amazing £2006.02 for the new centre. A truly wonderful achievement.

Well done! and many congratulations to the members of the North West Regional Committee.The exciting ICE PACKS project (mystery parcels containing embroidery materials and threads) to sell in aid of the National Embroidery Centre - Manchester raised a total of £1,324.50.
