Riches
of Stitches returned to the Collins Gallery
after its first showing at this venue
10 years ago. This exhibition delivered
what its name suggests: a wealth of embroidery
by Members of the Embroiderers' Guild
showing the vitality and diversity of
this medium in the 21st century.
The
Embroiderers' Guild received a remarkable
224 entries to this very well received
and visited exhibition, where visitors
were able to see a large variety of work
including those pieces that won awards,
generously donated by Coats Crafts UK,
as follows:
