SEETA

September 2000

Following my letter in The World of Embroidery (November 1999), South East Essex Textile Artists (SEETA) has now been inaugurated with just five post- City & Guilds Part 2 students, and will meet on the last Saturday of each month. We are a group working together towards an exhibition and supporting individuals in the growth of their work. We would like to offer membership to those people who are finishing or about to finish City & Guilds Part 2 (or similar) this year. We will be holding a panel to which candidates will bring a portfolio of their current work: they will discuss these with the panel and tell them about their future aims. Candidates considering joining should write to me at the address given below, marking the envelope 'SEETA'. They will receive a list of our Aims and Objectives before they attend.
