We also have an excellent historical article written by Lynn Szygenda,
curator of the Embroiderers' Guild's Museum Collection,
featuring the collection's latest acquisition, this wonderful, glitzy
early 17th century cushion (156K).

Featured in the Gallery of Embroiderers is Jeanette Appleton,
a graduate of Goldsmith's College
whose deep interest in felt-making has taken her around the world.

Jennifer Talbot takes the Orkney Islands as her inspiration
to produce mixed media embroideries. Her article describes
the making of her landscape pieces (86K).
