The Annual Members' Challenge in 2011 was to create an embroidery inspired by a piece from the Guild's Museum Collections - an or nué visitors' book by the late Margaret Nicholson. All the entries can now be seen in an online gallery, celebrating the richness and variety of hand stitch.
Two Embroiderers' Guild Scholarships of £1000 each are awarded annually to embroiderers to develop the practice of embroidery. More information and application form >>
The Guild's AGM in 2012 will be held in the North West England's coastal resort of Southport. Southport is easily accessible by road, rail or air from most parts of the UK.
